Books & Training Manuals for Government, University Presses & Private Industry:

Book covers, interior pages including indices, appendices, charts, graphs, diagrams have been designed and produced electronically, while occasionally illustrated and traditonally pasted up:

U.S. Postal Service training manuals	Training manuals for the Discovery Channel
Three sample book covers, with related interiors, were developed for the U.S. Postal Service "Designing Flat Mail" training manual distributed to the public to educate graphic designers on how to meet the requirements of the postal system. Numerous illustrations, photos, charts and diagrams were incorporated into the final text.	Designed were a teachers guide, a student guide and a laser disk, all using barcode technology for navigation. All were done in black and white to facilitate teachers being able to photocopy them at will. Selections of images with the biologist determined which would be suitable to illustrate the materials in this photocopy format.
